A Georgia man will serve 41 years to life in prison for a deadly shooting in Niagara Falls.

According to the Niagara County District Attorney’s Office, 25-year-old Matthew Glass, previously from Atlanta, received his sentence Thursday morning.

Prosecutors said Glass fatally shot 48-year-old Robert Miller in October 2023 as Miller sat inside his vehicle. A jury found Glass guilty of second-degree murder.

Niagara County D.A. Brian Seaman stated, “This defendant showed himself to be cold-blooded and remorseless. The only proper response to a brazen, violent crime of this nature is to remove the perpetrator from the community permanently.”
