Border Patrol Agents Found Missing Michigan Mother And Her Baby Walking Barefoot In Texas

U.S. Border Patrol agents made a surprising discovery over the weekend when they found a Michigan mother and her baby who had been reported missing last week. The mother and child were spotted walking on a ranch in Texas, and were quickly located by the agents.

The Webb County Sheriff’s Office received a report on July 6 about a woman and a baby walking barefoot on the ranch near the border patrol checkpoint at Interstate 35. The authorities immediately responded to the scene to investigate the matter.

Authorities were able to identify the woman by her Michigan driver’s license. When questioned, she explained that her car had run out of gas while en route to South Padre Island.

Officials have verified that the missing person reported to the police in Wyoming, Michigan, near Grand Rapids, was indeed the woman in question. This confirmation was made by authorities.

Family members brought the mother and baby to a nearby hospital, and they were later reunited in Michigan.

Sheriff Martin Cuellar expressed gratitude towards the United States Border Patrol for their prompt response and applauded his deputies for their successful coordination with the woman’s family to ensure their safety. He reminds everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity by dialing 956-415-BUST (2878).
