Ammo vending machines are now installed in various US grocery stores

Making it easier for gun owners to purchase ammunition is the goal of one company.

American Rounds has introduced a unique concept of vending machines that are stocked with ammunition and available 24/7 at grocery stores across the United States. Their website claims that this service provides customers with the convenience of purchasing ammunition on their own schedule, without being limited by store hours or long waiting lines.

Multiple grocery stores in Alabama and Oklahoma now have vending machines that require buyers to show their ID and be at least 21 years old. The company behind the machines has implemented a facial recognition software that verifies the buyer’s identity.

According to Grant Magers, the CEO of American Rounds, the company does maintain records of customer transactions as required by the state, but they do not disclose this information to anyone else. In an interview with KOCO in Oklahoma, Magers emphasized the company’s commitment to protecting the privacy of their customers.

According to reports, the kiosks offer an array of rounds for sale, and customers are not restricted in terms of the quantity they can purchase at a time.

Currently, the company is aiming to broaden its reach by introducing its vending machines in other states. As of now, Ohio does not have any vending machines from the company.
