A teenager from America, who was on a cruise with his family in Germany, went missing but has been found safe now.
Aydin Brown, a 14-year-old boy, went missing on Wednesday without any clue as to his whereabouts. His family suspects that he may have been lured away from a dock in Rostock-Warnemunde, a town located about two hours north of Berlin, Germany.
According to a report by Fox News, the teenager had a dispute with his grandmother before he left on his own.
The police in the area took immediate action by distributing flyers with Aydin’s picture after he went missing. The authorities hoped that this would lead to any information about the whereabouts of the young boy.
According to reports from NBC News, Aydin was captured on surveillance cameras conversing with an unknown individual before the duo proceeded to walk towards a nearby church. The footage consists of two photographs.
On social media, Anne Yaktiyol expressed her unfortunate ongoing nightmare with the words, “My worst nightmare continues to unroll.”
It’s been reported that Aydin is still missing. Based on the available information, it seems that he might have been enticed away after leaving the vessel in Warnemunde, Germany.
The authorities were looking to question the man.
After three days, the teenager was discovered unharmed and in good condition.
Princess Cruises has confirmed the safe return of the teenager who was on board the same liner as Aydin and his grandmother.
On Saturday, the cruise line released a statement expressing their joy that Aydin Brown had been located safe and sound.
“We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the German authorities for their prompt response and remarkable actions in finding Aydin following his departure from Warnemunde last Thursday morning.”
It is still uncertain what exactly happened in regards to the boy’s return.
