AT&T donated $7,000 to Russell Child Development Center to further their Learn & Play Project and Triple P Positive Parenting Program. If you have heard more about these programs recently it is due (at least partially) to this donation.

Someone anonymously bought a bunch of people coffee (including me) this morning at Patrick Dugan’s Coffee House! There have also been reports of people anonymously paying for other people’s food at McDonald’s. Thank you kind and awesome people of Garden City!
The D.O.T group made some Valentine’s for the Senior Center.
Work keeps on going on the Habitat for Humanity House, they are looking for help this Saturday from 8-11am.
St. Catherine Hospital is working on complete care for cancer survivors, one such activity is the Breast Friends Support Group.
The Garden City Link (the buses that go around town) count is in from January and there was a total of 6,344 riders last month! That is more than a 25% increase from last January, and more than a 600% increase from January 2008.
