A search warrant was executed at a Holcomb apartment by a joint task force consisting of the Finney County Sheriff’s Office and the Garden City Police Department. The operation resulted in the discovery and seizure of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Additionally, three individuals were arrested in connection with the illegal substances.
The residents of the apartment are currently under investigation, which led to the execution of a search warrant by the Finney County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, the search conducted at the residence led to the discovery of methamphetamine and various items related to the illegal distribution of controlled substances.
Two men from Holcomb and a woman from Dodge City were arrested and subsequently booked into the Finney County Jail in Garden City.
Danyl Rodriguez, a 39-year-old resident of Holcomb, has been taken into custody on multiple charges. These include distributing stimulants within 1,000 feet of a school zone, possessing drug paraphernalia for distribution purposes, unlawfully acquiring proceeds from drug transactions, using a communication device to facilitate a felony drug violation, possessing drug paraphernalia, and committing felony interference with law enforcement by destroying evidence.
Larry Briscoe Jr., a 45-year-old resident of Holcomb, was taken into custody on charges of possessing a stimulant with a prior conviction and possessing drug paraphernalia.
Zuleyca Beatriz Perez-Gomez, a 30-year-old resident of Dodge City, was taken into custody on charges of interfering with law enforcement.
The Garden City police in Finney County have recently taken action to address the growing issue of drug overdoses, particularly those involving fentanyl.
