Arrest made in El Dorado stabbing incident involving domestic violence

=This morning, law enforcement officials in El Dorado apprehended a couple on charges of domestic violence and aggravated assault following a report of a stabbing incident.

The El Dorado Police Department reported that Julia Felt and Trevor Toney were the sole participants in the altercation and were taken into custody following the incident. The dispute was first reported by a third party at approximately 10:09 am in the 1200 block of S High St. The 911 dispatcher informed the responding officers that Toney had recently been discharged from the hospital prior to their arrival at the scene.

During the altercation, Felt used an arrow to inflict a minor stab wound on Toney’s hand. The police officers were able to find Felt at the 1200 block of S Summit St. Toney and Felt were then taken to the El Dorado Police Department for additional questioning.

Felt and Toney were taken into custody and booked into the Butler County Jail. Felt is facing a charge of aggravated battery, while Toney is facing a charge of domestic violence. Both individuals are scheduled to appear before a judge in Butler County courts on Wednesday, December 18 at 1:30pm. It is important to note that the investigation is still ongoing.
