Woman from the local area apprehended for vandalism and drug possession

The RCPD has apprehended a local woman for her involvement in criminal damage to property.

Allyson Gann, 37, was apprehended by the police at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Poyntz Avenue around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Gann has been charged in this case with several offenses, including criminal damage to property with a value ranging from $1,000 to $25,000, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of an opiate, opium, narcotic, or stimulant. According to KDOC records, Gann has previously been convicted of child abuse in Riley County in 2007 and criminal damage to property in Pottawatomie County in 2021.

Gann has been taken into custody and is currently being held at the Riley County Jail on a bond of $5,000. As of now, she has not been released.
