Police in Kansas City, Missouri, have identified the teenage boy who tragically lost his life in a fatal shooting at a local business on Wednesday afternoon.
The officers made an effort to assist Newton in improving his condition until emergency services arrived. Subsequently, the police confirmed that he had passed away at the scene.
According to the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD), a second individual, identified as an adult male, sustained a gunshot wound. The injured man was promptly transported to the hospital for treatment, and fortunately, his injuries were not life-threatening.
