California-Founded Denny’s Restaurant Chain Shutting Down 150 Locations Nationwide

By the end of next year, a total of 150 Denny’s restaurants across the country will be closing permanently. Out of these, 50 locations are expected to cease operations by the end of 2024.

Among these, California has the highest number of Dennys restaurants with 389, accounting for approximately 25% of all Dennys restaurants in the country.
