On May 1, 2024, Byron E. Scott from Manhattan hit the jackpot by winning the $1,000 A Week For Life second prize in the Cash4Life game. Matching the first five numbers drawn, he secured a minimum payout of $1 million.
The lucky ticket was bought at Hudson News, which can be found at 1 Penn Plaza in Manhattan.
Scott decided to receive a lump sum payment of $612,240, after all the necessary withholdings were taken into account.
The lucky numbers drawn that evening were 9, 13, 27, 31, 44, and the Cash Ball 3.
In order to win the top prize in the Cash4Life game, you need to match the six numbers on your ticket to the winning six-number combination drawn. These numbers are selected from a field of 1 to 60. Additionally, there is a separate field of 1 to 4 from which the cash ball is drawn. The combination consists of five numbers and the cash ball.
