The authorities of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office are currently seeking the help of the general public to identify the suspects responsible for a stabbing incident that occurred in Waldorf towards the end of the previous month.
On Saturday, new surveillance photos were released of the vehicles that were allegedly involved in an incident that occurred late on June 30.
The sheriff’s office has reported that, as per the initial investigation, the food delivery driver came to a halt at a red light on St. Patrick’s Drive at Crain Highway in Waldorf. At this point, two vehicles pulled up and positioned themselves on either side of his car.
As soon as the vehicles came to a halt, a heated argument broke out among the occupants. Matters quickly escalated, resulting in a stabbing incident. Despite the injury, the driver managed to make his way back into his car and drive home. Once there, a family member immediately contacted the police for assistance.
Upon arriving at the Waldorf residence, law enforcement officers discovered a man who had sustained multiple stab wounds.
The sheriff’s office successfully traced the footage of the two vehicles engaged in the incident during the investigation.
Officials have reported that there are two vehicles involved in the incident, with one being a dark SUV and the other a dark sedan.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
