Along with these price hikes, Disney is introducing new features. Starting September 4, all Disney+ subscribers will gain access to ABC News Live and a curated preschool content playlist, including shows like The Lion Guard, Minnie’s Bow-Toons, Puppy Dog Pals, and Sofia the First.

Additionally, Disney+ Premium subscribers will receive four new curated playlists – seasonal content, epic stories, throwbacks, and real-life – starting this fall, according to the news release.

“Playlists are the latest example of how we’re providing the best value and experience for our subscribers every time they open Disney+,” said Disney+ President Alisa Bowen. “Whether it’s news, kids’ content, popular genres, hit TV shows, or blockbuster films, there will be something for everyone in a lean-back viewing experience based on seasonality and interest.”
