An accidental shooting in south Wichita on Saturday night is currently under investigation by the police.
At around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, the police in Wichita received a report of a shooting in the 3300 block of S. All Hallows Ave.
Upon the arrival of the officers, they discovered an individual who had sustained a gunshot wound. Promptly, the man was taken to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals anticipate his recovery.
According to the police, the man accidentally fired his handgun while wrestling with a teenager. The teenager involved in the incident was not arrested, and the authorities are currently investigating the case.
