Law enforcement officials in Benton County, Arkansas are currently investigating a tragic shooting incident and seeking assistance in locating a teenage suspect who is believed to have ties to Kansas.
According to a media release, officers in Rogers, Arkansas, responded to a shots fired call in the 400 block of East Asher Court on April 13. Following the investigation, they discovered that Alexus Lien Nguyen, a 17-year-old victim, had been shot and was found deceased at the scene.
After analyzing the scene and conducting a comprehensive investigation, the detectives successfully identified 17-year-old Alejandro Zenon-Reyes as the prime suspect. As a result, a warrant was issued for his arrest on the charge of manslaughter.
Zenon-Reyes has clearly fled Arkansas to evade capture both during and after the investigation.
Zenon-Reyes has connections to various locations including Wichita and Arkansas City Kansas, West Covina California, Phoenix Arizona, and Dallas/Fort Worth Texas.
The U.S. Marshals have announced a $5,000 reward for any information that can help in the arrest of Zenon-Reyes. This comes after a court order was issued, allowing the release of Zenon-Reyes’s information, as he is a juvenile.
