A Kansas lawmaker is making a new push to eliminate Daylight Saving Time in the state.

On January 3, Senator Kenny Titus from Wamego took the initiative to file the inaugural Senate bill of 2025.

Kansas could be exempt from the national practice of adjusting clocks back an hour every November and moving them forward in March, according to a new bill.

President-elect Donald Trump is claiming that the Republican Party will eliminate Daylight Saving Time nationwide.
