A TikToker with a passion for cars has been sentenced to over 12 years in prison after causing a devastating crash that claimed the lives of six people. The individual was driving at a staggering speed of 151mph at the time of the accident.

Noah Galle, at the tender age of 17, crashed his 2019 BMW5 into the back of an SUV transporting farm workers in Palm Beach County, Florida. Prior to the accident, he had shared videos on social media that showcased his reckless speeding, even daring viewers to guess his astonishing velocity.

He admitted his guilt for causing the tragic accident on January 27, 2022, which resulted in the loss of six lives. The judge presiding over the case sentenced Galle, who is now 20 years old, to a minimum of two years in prison for each of his victims.

The defendant faced a potential sentence of 90 years in prison, but he reached a plea agreement with the prosecutors. Chief Assistant State Attorney Alan Johnson revealed that some of the families of the victims had advocated against any prison time for the defendant’s involvement in the tragedy.

In a statement reported by WPTV, he expressed, “The victims’ families have reached out to us and shared that they are not opposed to this plea. In fact, a few of them expressed that they didn’t even want him to be incarcerated. One family even requested that we drop the case altogether. In a situation like this, what is the appropriate sentence? It is important to recognize that no amount of time in prison will bring the victims back to their loved ones. Given the circumstances, we believe that this resolution is fitting. This case is undeniably a tragedy.”
