Harvesters Receives $15,000 Bayer Fund Grant to Support Community Feeding Programs

Kansas City’s Harvesters Community Food Network has received a $15,000 grant from the Bayer Fund to bolster its efforts in feeding families, children, and seniors in the area.

Stephen Davis, President and CEO of Harvesters, expressed gratitude for the support, stating, “We are thrilled for Bayer’s support and their mutual goal to see the communities we serve flourish. This grant will go a long way to provide meals and support to families, children, and seniors in our service area.”

Harvesters plays a critical role in addressing food insecurity, serving over 226,000 people each month across 27 counties. The funding will help sustain its mission of providing vital nutrition and resources to vulnerable populations throughout the Kansas City region.
