A stabbing outside the Lord’s Diner, a well-known soup kitchen in downtown Wichita, Kansas, left a man in his early 20s critically injured on Sunday afternoon.

The Wichita Police Department reported that officers responded to the scene near Central and N. Broadway around 4:30 p.m. Emergency personnel found the victim with a stab wound to the chest. He was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical condition.
