A 31-year-old man from Dodge City, Kansas, was arrested in Riley County on December 23, 2024, after failing to appear in court for charges related to methamphetamine distribution. Donnithan Jones was taken into custody on a District Court warrant stemming from accusations that he distributed meth within 1,000 feet of a school and used a phone to attempt to sell between 35 and 100 grams of the drug.
This arrest marks another stint in the Riley County Jail for Jones, who was previously involved in a separate drug-related incident earlier this year.
In that case, he was accused of attempting to sell heroin while incarcerated. Jones also has a history of violating post-release orders from a prior drug distribution conviction, for which he spent over two years in state prisons.
