Man apprehended by Hutchinson police for attempting to solicit a minor

On December 11, the Hutchinson Police Department apprehended a 41-year-old man for multiple charges. These charges include indecent solicitation of a child to commit or submit to an unlawful sexual act, electronic solicitation of a child aged 14-15, sexual exploitation of a child, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a parole violation.

The Hutchinson police have made an arrest in connection with the case. The arrest was conducted by detectives from the Investigations Division, Special Operations Division, and the Reno County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit. At the moment, no further information about the case has been disclosed.

The department is currently conducting an ongoing investigation, and they have yet to determine any formal charges.
