Two men, Jeremy Madden, 18, and Omarion Swift, 20, have been arrested and are facing charges in connection with the robbery of a 79-year-old woman outside Trader Joe’s at Ward Parkway Mall in Kansas City. The robbery took place on December 12th and during the incident, the victim sustained a bruise to her head. However, she declined medical treatment at the scene.
Witnesses reported seeing a struggle before the suspect fled in a dark-colored Toyota Camry. Authorities have revealed that a third individual involved in the incident has been transported to a juvenile detention center. The arrests were made after surveillance video footage showed Madden and Swift attempting to use the victim’s stolen credit cards to purchase various items, including an Xbox game console, at a Target store in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

The victim, who was injured in the attack, chose not to receive medical assistance at the scene despite having a bruise on her head.
