Shocking Chart Reveals Surge in Female Voters Supporting Trump in 2024

In the 2024 election, a surprising demographic shift emerged, showing that more women voted for  Donald Trump  compared to the 2020 election. A new chart analyzing voter support by demographic groups revealed that female voters’ backing for Trump increased by approximately 5% from 2020 to 2024 election, according to a review of election data by the  Financial Times.

This rise was particularly notable among white, non-college women, whose support for Trump also grew by about 5%. Younger demographics saw even larger shifts in support for the former president, with the 18-29 age group increasing their backing for Trump by nearly 20% and those aged 30-44 following closely with a 15% rise.

However, the chart also highlighted the only groups where support for Trump did not grow: white college-educated women and voters over the age of 65. Both demographics saw an uptick in support for Democrats, with white college women and voters over 65 increasing their backing for Kamala Harris by around 5%.

In a broader context, the data also illustrated a notable shift among minority groups. Hispanic voter support for Trump surged by nearly 15%, while Asian and Black voters showed even more significant increases in their support for the Republican candidate, with rises of approximately 20% and 10%, respectively.

Despite these demographic shifts toward Trump, the chart pointed out that minority groups and female voters as a whole still leaned toward the Democratic side in the election. However, women voters were now nearly evenly split between Democratic and Republican support, signaling a close contest.
