The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department (KCKPD) is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday evening. Officers were dispatched around 5:11 p.m. to a residence near North 6th Street and Splitlog Avenue, where they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
