7 Kansas Teens Injured in Two Separate Crashes on Wednesday

The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating two separate crashes that resulted in seven teens being injured on Wednesday. The incidents occurred in Morton and Ellis counties.

In Elkhart, Morton County, a Chevy Silverado carrying four teens and a Suzuki with two teens collided around 8:45 p.m. The KHP reports that the Suzuki turned left, crashing into the Silverado. The six teens, ages 15 to 18, were all transported to Morton County Hospital with minor injuries.

Meanwhile, in Ellis County, a 17-year-old girl was injured when the Ford Ranger she was driving left old U.S. Highway 40 and rolled over at around 11:20 a.m. She was taken to Hays Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the causes of both accidents.
