Merseyside sees 28 arrests as police crackdown on county lines drug dealing over two days.
Police officers conducted operations at various stations and trains across the rail network, as well as on roads, with the aim of disrupting and dismantling drug trade routes in Sefton.
Merseyside Police carried out a successful operation on 23rd and 24th October, rescuing a total of 23 vulnerable children and adults in Southport and Bootle. In addition to the rescue efforts, the police also seized £10,000 in cash during the operation.
Thirteen individuals were arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with the intent to supply and committing drug supply offenses involving Class A and B substances.
During the operation, the police seized a significant amount of Class A drugs. Additionally, they obtained 71 new intelligence reports.
During the operation, the police conducted 82 stop and searches and also confiscated two vehicles.
