Enyerbert Blanco Blanco, a 27-year-old Venezuelan man, has been arrested in Palm Beach County, Florida, on allegations of child sexual trafficking. Authorities accuse Blanco, previously deported and on bond in New York for an attempted murder charge, of trafficking a 15-year-old girl.
Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw voiced his displeasure with the situation, mentioning Blanco’s previous deportation and outstanding accusations. “Here’s a guy who was deported; now he’s illegally back in the country for a second time, so obviously whatever this vetting system is at the border ain’t working,” Bradshaw said to the audience. “The border’s not closed; illegals are still coming in.”
He underlined the importance of a robust immigration system in preventing such tragedies.
Authorities believe Blanco has ties to the Venezuelan group Tren de Aragua, based on tattoos found on him. However, authorities have yet to establish this link. Blanco was out on bond in New York for attempted murder, and he was just caught in Miami for narcotics possession.
In connection with the investigation, authorities also apprehended Yenire Karolina Pache Coleiton, a Colombian woman.
“How can he be on bond for an attempted murder out of New York?” Bradshaw inquired. “He gets detained in Miami for cocaine trafficking while out wandering around. That is unconscionable.”
“But I can tell you one thing, people. “That female and this guy here that was involved in this—their buttocks are staying in my jail,” the sheriff yelled. “They’re not coming out!”
The arrest came after an investigation began in response to an anonymous tip about a missing girl from New York. Online ads for sexual services led authorities to a motel, where they discovered the victim.
The scene yielded evidence such as condoms, cash, and graphic phone calls.
Both suspects are currently in jail, and ICE has issued a detainee for both of them.
