Designer jeans valued at nearly $200K stolen in NYC robbery

A Lower Manhattan crime resulted in the theft of nearly $200,000 in designer trousers.

Police say several guys stormed the ‘Nudie Jeans Repair Shop’ at 188 Bowery shortly after 7 a.m. Saturday.

The group appears to have broken the front glass door. According to the retailer, the group seized 94 pairs of jeans, each priced at $1,200.

Police apprehended a 19-year-old man who they believe served as a lookout. The other suspects escaped with the items.
