Police seek 2 individuals responsible for igniting firecrackers during disturbance at Dauphin County festival

Dauphin County police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two females who, in July, set off firecrackers while officers attempted to control a group of fighting juveniles at a festival. This incident caused fear among nearby patrons.

On July 3, officers from Lower Paxton Township responded to a call about fights at Koons Park during the township’s firework show and food truck festival. Several juveniles were apprehended at the event.

According to a police report, while police were trying to disperse the “unruly crowd,” the two wanted females began lighting firecrackers in a crowded parking lot. This caused several people to panic and run away.
