Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Keane has announced the sentencing of Christian Palamara, 24, and Terrance D. Hennegan, 24, both from Buffalo. They were involved in an armed home invasion robbery that took place last December. State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller has sentenced Palamara to eight years in prison, while Hennegan, a second violent felony offender, has received a 10-year determinate sentence.
On December 23, 2023, two individuals armed with what seemed to be black pistols entered a residence on Manitoba Street in Buffalo and carried out a robbery. They took approximately $3,000 in cash from the people inside the house. The investigators, during their search of the defendants’ residence on Fredro Street, found two illegal weapons that matched the description of the guns used in the crime.
Hennegan was placed at the crime scene by his parole GPS ankle monitor, and the suspects’ vehicle was captured on a doorbell camera, further linking them to the incident. On August 29, 2024, both men pleaded guilty to first-degree robbery and burglary, which are classified as “B” violent felonies.
Buffalo Police Department and the Erie County Crime Analysis Center were commended by Acting DA Keane for their contributions in securing the convictions. The Major Crimes Bureau was responsible for prosecuting the case, with Assistant District Attorney Frank A. Strano leading the efforts.
