The attacker forced his way into the woman’s UES apartment and raped her

Police are searching for a man who broke into an Upper East Side apartment early Saturday morning and raped a 29-year-old woman inside her own home.

The terrible incident occurred at the woman’s home at East 92nd Street and First Avenue in Manhattan’s Yorkville neighborhood at 3:40 a.m.

According to authorities, the perpetrator, a man the victim did not know, pushed his way into her apartment before raping her.

Lenox Hill Hospital received the victim in stable condition.

Late Saturday night, police revealed CCTV photographs of the rapist, who was wearing a green jacket, a white shirt, and blue pants.

A neighboring resident told 1010 WINS that the attack is really worrying.

“You know what? There’s so much to be concerned about; I’m at the maximum level of concern that I’m almost numb.” She went on:

There have been no arrests, and the New York Police Department’s Manhattan Special Victims Squad is investigating.
