As of 6 a.m. Friday, at least three people had died as Hurricane Helene slammed into the southeast.
A highway sign that fell on a car in Tampa resulted in the murder of one person. Another two individuals have died in Wheeler County, Georgia, when a potential tornado struck a mobile home.
When the hurricane made landfall in Florida, it had winds of roughly 140 mph.
