Violent NYC Street Brawl Erupts From House, Leaving 6 People Slashed

Wild videos show a knock-down, drag-out street brawl that left six people cut and injured after an early morning disagreement broke out from a Brooklyn home housing more than 30 migrants.

Doorbell camera and spectator footage obtained exclusively by The Post reveal a wild altercation Sunday that began at a troubled Gerritsen Beach property and spread to the adjacent streets, where at least one blade-wielding attacker struck.

The doorbell camera film depicts a ruffian in a dark shirt chasing another man, repeatedly stabbing him before allegedly slicing his way through a crowd.

As the stabbing occurred, a number of ladies and young children fled the house, which had been a hotspot for nonstop partying during the weekend, and sought refuge beneath a deck, according to a neighbor.

The man, an FDNY firefighter who lives two doors down, described seeing 12 adult ladies clutching little babies and six kids under 15 crammed under the deck. “I felt so bad for them.”

For his participation in the melee, authorities detained and charged 19-year-old Erick Caiza Iza with assault, menacing, and weapons.

A neighbor’s window video captures the brawl as it moves from the Fane Street house near Devon Avenue to the road.

Another male neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, told The Post, “They were fighting, they came out onto the avenue, and they continued fighting, and it was getting worse and worse, about 15 of them pushing, head-butting each other.”

“Then they started kicking and hitting this particular guy.” “I thought they were going to kill him.”

The videos obtained by The Post corroborate the neighbor’s account of the big battle.

Just as the ruckus appears to be calming down, a hooligan in a white t-shirt removes his baseball cap and headbutts another man.

The pair trade punches until the white-shirted bruiser is restrained, only to be replaced by another man in a white t-shirt, who wallops the headbutted combatant.

The brawl soon devolved into a chaotic street-spanning melee, with fighters breaking off into several groups.

The knife fight, which began about 6:20 a.m., left a 30-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man sliced in the face, a man in his 30s knifed in the neck and wrist, a 16-year-old stabbed in the arm, and a 19-year-old male and a 29-year-old woman cut in their hands, police said.

All six were hospitalized in stable condition, according to authorities.

Residents on the block claim that the house where the argument began, which houses 31 migrant adults and children, has become a nuisance in the neighborhood.

The home had less than ten individuals in it about nine months ago before it grew to 31, according to the firefighter.

“Usually they’ll end at 11 p.m. on the weeknights,” he told me. “Weekends, they’ll go bananas—it’s all night.”

The party The neighbor reported spending Saturday night and Sunday at a birthday party.

After the stabbing, the NYPD’s Emergency Service Unit finally removed the large gathering from the residence, revealing sheetrock barriers that divided the house “like a honeycomb of little rooms,” according to the firefighter.

During the ESU search, authorities discovered three children hidden in one of the locked walls.

The firefighters noted that neighbors had been calling about the problematic residence for six months without any results.

Some of the women who returned to the residence Monday told The Post in Spanish that they had recently arrived in the United States from South America.

According to the firefighter and another neighbor, Chris Hanna, the men living in the house are responsible for theft from surrounding stores, and the children would swipe stuff from residential houses, including stacks of Walgreens items on the now-vacant property.

“The kids that are living in this house, they’ve been stealing the Amazon packages right off people’s porches and going into people’s yards and stealing bicycles,” Hanna, 47, told me.

“A lot of neighbors have had to pound on the door and say your kids are taking our stuff, and we have video proof. Give us our belongings back or we’ll call the cops.”

“We’re all scared they’re going to let these people move back in here,” according to him.

The male neighbor who witnessed the slashing on Sunday morning expressed sympathy for the children who lived there.

“There is a complete lack of parental supervision,” the local added. “I keep watching this little boy, who is less than 2 years old, running out into the street between the cars, while the cars slam on their brakes.
