According to court documents, David Dye, 17, and Iyanna Perry, 18, are facing accusations of phone theft. Harris County filed the court records. Both are charged in separate cases: 188595501010: The State of Texas against. Dye, David (Court 174), and 188592401010: The State of Texas vs. Perry, Iyanna Renee (Court 174). Both Dye and Perry, who live in Michigan, have posted $5,000 bail.
According to a Facebook post, Dye and Perry traveled from Chicago and rented vehicles to reportedly steal packages containing iPhone 16 models. The Deer Park Police Department currently has one iPhone in their possession, but they have not yet identified its owner. The post also claims that a third individual, who was not present during the thefts, has not been arrested.
