blame the Kamala Harris border debacle for the homeless explosion in the United States

Open-borders supporters claim that their policies come from a strong sense of empathy, yet a quick examination at US homeless data reveals that they are lying.

In January, at least 550,000 persons were reported homeless, up 10% from January 2023, when the statistic was the highest ever recorded.

It is no surprise that the same month witnessed the biggest number of illegal aliens ever crossing the southern US border.

Indeed, Massachusetts figures reveal that migrants account for roughly half of the families in the state’s family shelter system.

Regardless of what border-erasers say, it makes simple sense that the influx of large numbers of individuals without employment or housing (or easy access to either) would increase the number of homeless.

Or that the newcomers (most of whom are completely reliant on government benefits) would instantly become massive drains on the social services capacities of the towns and cities where they arrive.

To understand the scale of the situation, consider the predicted cost of the migrant tsunami to New York City, which is expected to be more than $12 billion by next year.

Consider the situation in tiny villages like Eagle Pass and smaller cities like El Paso, both of which are near the crisis’s epicenter.

On top of increasing homelessness and tax obligations, the sheer size of the incoming waves ensures societal tension and degradation.

That’s not to mention the lone-wolf criminals and organized gang members who are also coming in.

There isn’t a single societal problem in the United States that the migrant crisis hasn’t exacerbated.

It completely undermines leftists’ favorite “humanitarian” argument.

And it proves once again that Vice President Kamala Harris, a key architect of the debacle, does not deserve anyone’s vote in November.
