13 People Were Injured After A Car Collided With An Ohio Restaurant

A car crashed into a restaurant in Ohio on Sunday evening, injuring multiple people.

Reynoldsburg Police received reports of a car crashing into an O’Charley’s restaurant on Baltimore-Reynoldsburg Road. A spokesperson from the restaurant confirmed this incident to our news partner, WBNS in Columbus, stating that it occurred at around 6:30 p.m.

A video and photos depict the car entering the designated “to go” area of the restaurant.

According to Clint Lautenschleger, the Chief Operating Officer of O’Charley’s, 13 individuals were transported to the hospital following the incident. Fortunately, none of them sustained life-threatening injuries.

“The restaurant has temporarily closed its doors as we assess and address the damage caused. We express our utmost gratitude to the first responders who promptly arrived at the scene and our dedicated staff who handled the situation with commendable professionalism. We will maintain full cooperation with local authorities as they investigate the incident and determine the necessary measures,” stated the restaurant spokesperson.

Authorities are still investigating the crash.
