A teenager has been arrested for planning to slaughter his former partner and her family. The suspect was already under investigation for allegedly raping another teenager.
According to court documents, Austin’s friends informed the Norman Police Department about his discussions regarding “harming his ex-girlfriend and family.” This information ultimately led to Austin’s arrest by deputies, as stated in a copy of an arrest warrant affidavit.
According to the affidavit, Austin was discovered by the Norman Police in the vicinity of his ex-girlfriend’s house on July 18. He was found carrying a Home Depot sack, which contained latex gloves and a painter’s mask.
According to the affidavit, Norman Police found Austin outside his ex-girlfriend’s house on July 18 with “a Home Depot sack containing latex gloves and a painter’s mask.”
After confessing to threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend and her family, Austin reportedly informed authorities that the Moore Police Department was investigating him for the unrelated rape of another 14-year-old girl. “Matthew admitted to having sex with the 14-year-old but advised he believed her to be 19 years old,” according to the witness statement.
On August 1, an arrest warrant was issued for Austin, stating that on July 14, the mother of a 14-year-old girl, referred to as “TL” in court documents, contacted the Moore Police Department in Oklahoma to report a sexual assault by Austin on her daughter. The mother provided text messages exchanged between TL and Austin to the police, both at the beginning and end of their conversation.
According to the police, the victim revealed during a forensic interview that she first met Matthew at church. They exchanged numbers after she encountered him while dining at a restaurant where he is employed.
According to the cops, Austin told TL he was 16 years old. He was born in November 2005; thus, he is 18 years old, according to jail records. TL reports that Austin “went to her house, pushed himself on her, and sexually assaulted her” in July. Austin reassured her that, given their age and the need to maintain secrecy, “everything would be fine” and she should keep it a secret.
According to a Moore Police Department affidavit, he “also stated to TL that he had done this before and told her it was going to be OK.”
The girl was examined by a sexual assault nurse from a nearby hospital. She also told the police that she confronted Austin about his social media profiles, which revealed that he was 18.
According to KWTV, a local CBS affiliate, witnesses told police that Austin had outlined in detail how he planned to kill his ex-girlfriend and her mother. He allegedly told the witnesses that his ex-partner was “interfering with his life” and that “he would simply stab them to prevent them from screaming.”
