The NYPD is investigating the kidnapping of a 16-year-old girl in East New York. The teenager, who was last seen entering the Pitkin Avenue-Van Siclen Avenue subway station on the A and C lines in East New York around 3 p.m. on Tuesday
Helen texted her family around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, alerting them that she had been kidnapped by two unidentified men. Her current whereabouts are unknown, and her name, Helen Maila Moscoso, has now been released by the police.
According to reports, Helen was seen being forced into a vehicle at the corner of Pitkin and Pennsylvania avenues before being taken to the nearby subway station. Standing at 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds, she was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers, with a gray purse in her possession. Despite being in contact with her via text, the police have not yet been able to locate her.
Officers report that they have been in contact with Helen via text message but have yet to find her. Helen is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and carrying a gray purse.
