FBI Seeks Public Help in Finding Arizona Teen Who Vanished in Iowa

The FBI is asking the public for assistance in locating Liliana “Lily” Munguia, a 17-year-old Native American girl who went missing after leaving her father’s home in Arizona on August 5th.

Lily took a plane to Iowa to meet someone she met online, but she hasn’t heard back since.

A security camera recorded Lily leaving her father’s home near Bapchule, Arizona, at approximately 1:30 a.m. on August 5th. She temporarily talked with her family but hasn’t spoken since.

Lily has black hair, brown eyes, and a mole on the left side of her neck. She is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, and weighs about 125 pounds. She has contacts in Phoenix, Arizona, Des Moines, and Clive, Iowa.

We encourage anyone with information about Lily’s location to contact the FBI’s Phoenix Field Office at (623) 466-1999. You can also submit information to your local FBI office, the nearest American Embassy or Consulate, or online at tips.fbi.gov.
