U.S. Senator Tim Scott Marries Mindy Noce At Mount Pleasant Church

Senator Tim Scott and Mindy Noce exchanged vows on Saturday at their home church in Mount Pleasant.

Loved ones gathered at Seacoast Church to witness the marriage of South Carolina’s junior senator and former Republican presidential candidate.

Tim’s wedding party consisted of his brother, Ben, and Mindy’s close friend, Joni. The ceremony was officiated by Greg Surratt, the founding pastor of the church.

According to Scott’s campaign, Senators John Thune, Lindsey Graham, James Lankford, and John Barrasso, former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy, former Senator Cory Gardner, former representative Trey Gowdy, and former Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam were among the notable guests who attended the wedding.

The celebration saw the participation of some local businesses including Creech’s Florist, Rian Fuller Photography, and Hall’s Chophouse.

Tim and Mindy were introduced to each other by mutual friends at the Mount Pleasant church. They began a Bible study together, and their first official date took place in downtown Charleston.

Earlier this year, Scott popped the question while they were on Kiawah Island.
