Authorities are seeking the help of the public in finding an escaped prisoner from Belknap County who fled from the Concord Hospital – Laconia in New Hampshire. The United States Marshals Service, along with the District of New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force and the Belknap County Sheriff’s Office, are currently conducting a search for the said fugitive. The incident occurred on the early morning of Sunday.
Anthony Clark, aged 41, was in custody at the Belknap County Department of Corrections due to several domestic violence-related crimes, such as simple assault, stalking, strangulation, and witness tampering. During his time in custody, he needed medical attention and was consequently taken to a hospital. While at the hospital, Clark was fitted with an ankle monitor, but it was later found outside the hospital premises on the same day. As a result, Belknap County Superior Court has issued nationwide arrest warrants for Clark on new charges of escape, breach of bail, and criminal mischief.
Clark is currently evading law enforcement and is believed to have connections with associates and relatives in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and California. The victims who suffered from Clark’s violent behavior perceive his escape as an imminent threat. Authorities are also considering pressing charges against anyone who is aiding Clark in his continued evasion.
According to reports, Clark stands at 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds. He has short brown hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on his upper and forearms. There’s also an emoji-style tattoo located on his right hand, just above the thumb, as shown in the picture. Clark is identified as a Hispanic man.
