2 Charged With Murder Of Domonique Brown And No Bond Granted During First Court Appearance

On the morning of August 1st, Gerrius Hargett, 20, and Nevaeh Hackney, 19, made their first appearance before a judge.

Domonique Brown, aged 36, was allegedly murdered and both accused individuals have been charged with the crime. As of now, they have been denied bond.

According to the authorities, a 17-year-old has been charged with accessory to murder and is currently detained at the Pitt Regional Juvenile Center.

On June 24, 2024, authorities discovered Brown’s remains in a grassy field located at the end of Liberty Street.

The Trent Court community is located in close proximity to that area.

During a routine stop, Hargett and Hackney were apprehended by the police.

Their next court appearance is scheduled for August 15.
