Navy SEALs to participate in a challenging 3.5-mile swim across the Hudson River to raise funds for charity.

According to the organizers, in August, over 250 individuals, including Navy SEALS, veterans, first responders, and civilians, will be participating in a charity event where they will be swimming across the Hudson River, covering a distance of 3.5 miles.

On August 10th, the annual New York City SEAL Swim will take place, where participants will swim from Liberty State Park in New Jersey to the World Trade Center. The main objective is to raise funds for the Navy SEAL Foundation.

The Statue of Liberty will be the starting point for swimmers, where they will complete 100 push-ups and 22 pull-ups. After that, they will proceed to Ellis Island for another round of 100 push-ups and 22 pull-ups.

Upon reaching Battery Park, participants will collect American flags before embarking on a one-mile run to the World Trade Center. Upon arrival, they will complete 100 push-ups and 22 pull-ups as part of the tribute.

According to organizers, the Navy SEAL Foundation provides support for more than 30 crucial programs designed for active duty SEALS, veterans and their families.
