Newest Information Regarding Northeast’s Coastal Storm: Timing and 5-Day Prediction

The Northeast is in for an unsettled stretch of weather as a rare storm moving westward is set to back into the region off the Atlantic Coast. Despite a dry and comfortable weekend, things are about to get a bit more turbulent in the coming days.

Monday, July 29th is expected to be a mostly cloudy day with a high temperature of roughly 80 degrees.

As it moves inland, the weather system will bring gusty winds, particularly near the coastline, causing choppy waves and strong rip tides.

According to AccuWeather.com, showers and locally gusty winds are expected to occur in areas ranging from New Jersey and New York to Massachusetts and Maine as the system arrives on Monday.

Expect scattered showers and storms to happen Monday afternoon through the evening, particularly in regions closer to the coast and towards the south.

Expect a mix of sun and clouds on both Tuesday, July 30th and Wednesday, July 31st with high temperatures reaching the mid-80s. There’s a possibility of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms on both days.

August has arrived with mostly sunny skies greeting us on the first day of the month. High temperatures are expected to be around 90 degrees, making it a warmer day.
