A Motorcyclist Killed In Colorado Springs After Trying Out Stunts

On Saturday night, a motorcyclist lost his life in Colorado Springs due to a failed stunt.

Shortly before 10 p.m. on Saturday, reports of a motorcycle crash at the Floor and Decor parking lot near Woodmen and I-25 prompted a response from the Springs police. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered a crowd of riders in the parking lot and a damaged section of fence.

According to a lieutenant from CSPD, the inquiry uncovered that the biker was trying to perform stunts in the parking lot, lost control, hit a concrete retaining wall, and eventually landed in a residential backyard.

Upon arrival, the first responders discovered the motorcycle rider in the yard and declared him deceased. At present, the identity of the rider has not been disclosed to the public.

Authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the occurrence of this accident.

Investigators kept the parking lot closed for a few hours during their probe.
