The Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) boasts of the largest league in the region, the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL), which also has the most significant scholarship program. During the LIJSL Scholarship Breakfast held on Sunday, July 21 at the Huntington Hilton, the league awarded 29 scholarships to deserving teenagers. The recipients, chosen based on their academic and athletic prowess, as well as their contributions to their community, embody the league’s mission and its inspiring motto of “Building Character Through Soccer.”
