A woman from Western New York has been convicted of stealing $465,000 from St. Amelia’s Parish in the Town of Tonawanda and over $500,000 from an audiology office located in the City of Tonawanda. As a result of her actions, she has been sentenced accordingly.
On Thursday, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office reported that Lisa A. Noble, also known as Lisa Prynn, received a sentence of eight to 19 years in prison as a second felony offender in State Supreme Court.
During her time as a business manager at St. Amelia’s, Noble embezzled a staggering $465,000. Her fraudulent activity took place from April 2023 to September 2023, and she was caught after a thorough investigation was conducted. As a result, Noble was put on administrative leave and ultimately terminated. The stolen funds were used to cover personal expenses such as concert tickets, travel, and accommodation. Shockingly, she even spent $20,000 on a trip to Kansas City solely to attend a Taylor Swift concert.
As an office manager at an audiology office in the City of Tonawanda, she embezzled over $500,000 during a span of five years.
Garrett Leochko, who hails from Southern Ontario, expressed a sense of vulnerability and exposure.
Upon discovering that their nanny was a fugitive from Western New York, a family in North Carolina expressed their dismay, feeling as if they were caught in the crossfire. “We’re collateral damage,” they stated.
In March, Erie County Court arraigned Noble, and additional information regarding the case surfaced.
Before departing for North Carolina, she took the time to pen farewell letters to her teenage daughter and mother. Not long after, authorities commenced their search for her as she was in the midst of applying for a job at an assisted living facility.
Prosecutors in Western New York believe that a woman spent $20,000 of the $465,000 she allegedly stole from a church on Taylor Swift tickets. The woman, who worked as a bookkeeper for the church, is accused of using the money to pay for personal expenses such as groceries, credit card bills, and a Disney vacation. The theft reportedly occurred over a period of seven years, with the woman allegedly covering up her tracks by falsifying financial records.
All 11 counts in the indictment were admitted by Noble in June when he pleaded guilty in State Supreme Court.

Acting Erie County DA Mike Keane expressed satisfaction as he revealed that the defendant had pled guilty to the charges of stealing almost a million dollars from two former employers to support her luxurious lifestyle. The defendant had attempted to evade prosecution by fleeing the area, but justice has been served. Keane added that the judge has committed to imposing a substantial sentence for the crime committed.
A woman from WNY has admitted to stealing a total of $965,000 from St. Amelia’s Parish and an audiology office. The amount stolen from St. Amelia’s Parish was $465,000 while the amount stolen from the audiology office was over $500,000. The woman pleaded guilty to the charges.
According to the district attorney’s office, Noble agreed to sign Confessions of Judgment as a requirement of her plea. These Confessions obligated her to pay $465,424.19 to St. Amelia’s Parish and $890,723.08 to the audiology practice, as restitution to both of her victims. However, Noble has yet to make any payments towards these debts.
