NYPD searching for suspects accused of raping a 12-year-old girl in East Harlem

According to reports, a 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped in East Harlem on Sunday, and the NYPD is currently on the hunt for two suspects believed to be involved in the heinous crime.

The Jefferson Houses in the area of East 113th Street and 1st Avenue were the location of an incident that occurred just after 6:30 p.m., according to authorities.

According to the police, two suspects sexually assaulted the victim and fled the scene by foot in an unknown direction.

EMS transported the victim to a nearby hospital, and their condition is stable.

On Monday evening, the police released surveillance photos of both suspects.
