A man from North Carolina has been arrested for allegedly attempting to murder his own mother. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an assault at a residence in Denver, North Carolina and promptly responded to the incident.
Deputies claim Lynard Edward Hunter, 58, attacked his 77-year-old mother and called 9-1-1 to report the incident. Upon their arrival, deputies arrested Hunter and transported the victim to the hospital.
