In Cumberland, luck was on the side of a gambler who hit the jackpot of $560,000 on a ticket bought from Sheetz on Bedford Road in a game of Multi-Match. Additionally, a ticket worth $50,000 for Powerball was sold at the Pilot Travel Center situated in Hagerstown.
No one has claimed either of the prizes yet.
The six winning numbers – 03-14-29-30-32-35 – were all matched by the Mutli-Match ticket, giving the lucky winner the choice between an estimated annuity of $560,000 paid over 25 annual installments or a cash payout of approximately $310,000.
In 2024, a lucky Maryland Lottery player hit the jackpot for the sixth time in the game of Multi-Match.
So far this year, the state has sold 35 tickets worth $50,000 each, with the most recent being a third-tier Powerball win.
The Monday, July 15 Powerball drawing did not have any winner for the jackpot, which means the estimated annuity value for the next drawing on Wednesday has now grown to $75 million ($36 million cash option).
